On August 26th, the Advanced Building Materials Innovation Team from Wuhan University of Technology visited SOBEN, and both parties conducted in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies for green building materials.

The Advanced Building Materials Innovation Team at Wuhan University of Technology has been deeply involved in the field of green building materials, boasting strong scientific research capabilities. As early as 2011, it established the only State Key Laboratory in China's silicate building materials field. The team has achieved fruitful results in the areas of high-performance concrete, carbon-sequestering building materials, and smart building materials. It has undertaken multiple national-level scientific research projects, won 7 national science and technology achievement awards, and received several second prizes for national scientific and technological progress. The team's strength has been highly recognized by the industry.

At the seminar, Professor Liu, the team representative, shared the team's latest achievements and industry development trends in low-carbon materials and solid waste resource utilization, emphasizing the crucial role of green building materials in reducing carbon emissions in the construction sector. Both parties discussed topics such as enhancing material performance, controlling production energy consumption, and transforming technological achievements.

Zhang Yunpeng, the person in charge of SOBEN, stated that jointly promoting technological innovation in green building materials is the responsibility and commitment of SOBEN as an industry pioneer. This exploration of cutting-edge technologies with the Advanced Building Materials Innovation Team represents an important practice of industry-university-research integration, building a bridge between university technology research and enterprise production practice. We look forward to collaborating to draw a new blueprint for green materials and contributing to the realization of the national "dual carbon" goals.
